This page explains what information SipPair collects when you use this menu and recommendation tool, and why. This site is operated by [BAR / COMPANY NAME], [ADDRESS], [COUNTRY] (“we”, “us”).

What we don't collect

Using the drink recommender doesn't require an account, and your filter choices (sweetness, strength, budget, etc.) are never saved anywhere — they only exist in your browser for the length of your visit, as part of the page's web address. We don't use advertising trackers, analytics cookies, or any tool that builds a profile of you across visits or sites.

Cookies we do use

• Language preference (sippair_locale) — remembers which language you selected, so you don't have to choose it again on your next visit. Kept for up to 1 year.
• Staff login session (sippair_admin_session) — only set when a staff member signs in to manage the menu. Expires automatically after 8 hours and is never set for regular visitors.

Both are required for the site to function as intended and aren't used for tracking or advertising.

Login security data

To stop automated password-guessing against the staff login page, we briefly record the IP address of login attempts. These records are automatically deleted after a few minutes and are never used for any other purpose.

Who processes data on our behalf

We use the following service providers (“subprocessors”) to run this site:

• Netlify — hosts the website and handles web traffic.
• Supabase — hosts the database (menu content, login security data) and stores drink photos.

Neither provider is authorized to use this data for their own purposes.

Your rights

Because we collect so little personal data, most requests (access, correction, deletion) won't have much to act on beyond login security logs, which already delete themselves automatically. If you'd like to ask us anything about this policy or how data is handled, contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL].
